About us

The Crystal Palace Community Development Trust has completed its seventh year of operation, and this year it has really started to show its potential. Existing
projects and the development of other smaller new projects continues alongside other partnership initiatives.

The Trust continues to meet with local borough partners to explore suitable community projects with which it can assist. Discussion with Southwark Council
and the Kingswood Estate.
Tenants and Residents Association has been ongoing for two years with regard to the refurbishment of two empty shops to become a community centre
on the Kingswood Estate.


The Trust has now made applications to several large charities in order to obtain funds to achieve this objective. Tribute should be paid to the Director of the
Crystal Palace Community Development Trust for the past year of hard, but rewarding, work.

The Town Halls and Business Centre have continued to be the major project for the Trust. The Halls were closed for major redecoration during December and
January but otherwise have continued to be very well used. They are booked for family functions, receptions, birthday parties, christenings and funerals on
almost every weekend of the year.

The Business Centre has been well occupied over the last year with its
highest occupancy rate being 87.5%. The Trustees would like to thank the Manager and the staff of the Anerley Halls and Business Centre who continue to work
hard to provide a friendly, professional service to Halls and Business Centre users alike.

The prospects for the coming year are exciting and we look forward to moving on to new dimensions as we look to increasing the services we offer to all five
